Third Grade NEWS – May 26th, 2019
Musical Guests: We had a couple musicians visit our classroom and talk about live performance, song structure, and the creative writing process. They also played a few songs for us and led a discussion about music and expression.
International Music Presentations: We made our posters from our research and began our presentations. We learned about some new genres of music and heard some very unique songs!
Haiku’s: We began learning about Haiku poems and started practicing some of our own. The student’s are working on a Haiku relating feelings to weather and will paint an illustration to go with their poem next week.
An overview for NEXT week
